Week 8
God, what guidance do you have for me today?
I would have your fears… your worries and concerns.
Think of each one and place it in my care, today.
This day… let go and live in peace.
Rest your soul and receive the refreshment of my joy in you.
Let go of that which darkens your light… and live in faith, today.
All is well. All is well.
All is well.
Week 8
Evening Reflection
Today was pretty mellow. But awesome! I had a meeting with my wife to start learning a new song to perform. That meeting brought a refreshment of joy, which was expressed in the guidance. Then I got a text that a friend I had performed with on Broadway and who was available to talk. I had wanted a conversation with her since I had seen a Facebook page on her current work as a spiritual teacher. I was interested in whether we might form a joint venture.
I called and we had a most amazing conversation. We are doing so much of the same work. Not only that, we know some of the same people we had no idea we both knew personally. And even as performing artists, we had ventured into learning to play the same instrument, the mbira, which is rare for a western musician to learn.
The conversation revealed a divine serendipity that could not possibly have been predicted. It allayed my fears worries and concerns about locating a partnership in a business venture, as I found a wonderful colleague who was also was looking for a partner.
It was late in the afternoon the phone conversation occurred. And even after that, I was called by the Artistic Director of a music school I am chairman of the board of. He wanted to interview me. As we set up the interview through the computer, he asked for my patience. I laughed, and told him I had just been looking at a video of a woman named Patience. It turned out he knew the woman and he ended up giving me info concerning a matter my friend in NYC had brought up, regarding taking mbira lessons.
The whole day was a demonstration of the universe’s ability to meet us where we are, and to provide us with the connections we need to do our work in the world.
All is well indeed. All is well.
