Part of our work in the world is to develop our gifts, our passions, and our talents and offer them in service for the betterment of the world.
But how often do you consider what these are in your life?
Today, I invite you to take a few minutes to take stock of your unique talents. Yes, you have them! In fact, I’m sure you have many!
What is it that you’re able to do in the world with your own unique expression? Identify 3 talents or skills that you have that you express in the world uniquely.
Maybe you are an eloquent and inspiring speaker. Maybe you are a caring and thoughtful parent. Or you’re able to create something with your hands that bring beauty into the world. Or maybe something else. There are so many possibilities.
Now, take a moment to consider what you’ve accomplished with those talents on your life’s journey so far. Sit with gratitude in your heart for all that you have become and all that you have done in service to humanity with them. You have created abundance in your own life and the lives of others with these talents!
Know that your life’s journey, including the development of your unique talents, has unfolded perfectly, exactly as it should have. Perfect, even with its imperfection. Perfect, even with the challenges that arose alongside the joys. Perfect, even if there are parts that are still developing.
But, now it’s time to consider your next steps. What is calling to you right now, for the next part of your journey? Maybe there is a task, an adventure, or a yearning of something left undone?
In the quiet stillness, listen. Hear what is calling to you from deep within. This is your destiny and it resounds within your soul.
Listen to its call today and begin to move towards it. For it longs for you to answer its call with your own unique gifts.
And through the answering of this call, you too will grow, learn, and evolve on this journey through life.
Just think, today may be the first day of another phase of the great adventure called you! Rejoice and celebrate on each step as you move forward!
