WEEK 187
God, what is your guidance for me today? What would you have me say, do or be like? How would you have me live into the world, today?
Let this day be an offering to
The-One-Who-Gave-You-Your-Life.
Whatever you do, let it be done with
reverence… with deep respect for
the gifts and talents you have and have been
allowed to develop and share.
Speak with sincerity and respect,
honoring the living soul and spirit
possessed by each person you speak with.
What is it you are offering God?
Your own divinity; expressed through all you
say and do. And more… your very being.
Honor Divine Presence by remaining aware
that all you are and are becoming
is a gift back to The-One-Who-Gave-You-Your-Life.
In this awareness blessing will flow
and communion with Holy Spirit
will be yours to enjoy, today.

Evening Reflection
Following this guidance today was a most beautiful experience. To remain aware that all I said and did was a gift to God was an incredibly special and unique feeling. It inspired me to remain in love as a conscious choice, and it had a profound effect on my interactions with others. It even influenced what I did when I was alone. Even then, I was aware that my use of time and the focus of my attention were also being presented to God as a gift of appreciation for the life I have been granted. There was no sense of pressure, but a felt sense of Presence. It was as if all I did, said, and even thought was simultaneously being wrapped in love, gratitude and humble appreciation and presented as a gift to The-One-Who-Gave-Me-My-Life.
Of course, God doesn’t need our gifts. But the experience of offering ourselves and all we do as a gift can bring us closer to Presence. And when that happens, we can become more empowered as spiritual beings to be more of the Love that created us. We become transformed by Spirit as we remain open and aware of Spirit’s Divine Presence.
Jesus said, “I stand at the door and knock.” Though God is always present, our hearts are doors to the Spirit. With a heart of deep gratitude, our whole lives can become a gift to God.
Today was a small trinket given back, so to speak. And the communion with Holy Spirit was both a gift and blessing.
How did you experience this guidance?
