WEEK 185
God, what is your guidance for me today?
Be grateful for the freedom of your life.
Your will is not limited. It is a powerful gift
You are free to use as you see fit.
The choices you make are your own.
Your thinking is your own.
Your yes and no are always yours.
You are free to love or not.
You are free to choose to connect to spirit…
or not.
The creator has endowed you with the
ability to choose.
Be in gratitude today for this and think about
some of the choices you have made.
Today, point your will to the highest and best in you,
and celebrate that you can choose
to become; to grow in divine graces.
Give thanks to God, whose love
allows your very being and freedom.

Evening Reflection
In every moment we are free.
I realize this may be an existential statement, as many do not feel free, and still a great many others are physically constrained by means such as incarceration, dictatorships, or other circumstances beyond their control.
This guidance reminds us that freedom of choice is our human heritage. It may be bound up in duty and responsibility. It may be bound up in feeling marginalized or ostracized. It may be bound up in circumstances that limit choice. But our yes and no are still ours.
Wisdom gives us the best shot at making decisions that best serve us. Of course, being smart is also a great help. But wisdom trumps smarts every time. Being smart is intellectual. It is of the mind. Wisdom is spiritual. It is of God. It must be asked for… and then received by faith. It takes in a larger context and transcends the human world of smartness.
With freedom comes responsibility. The choices we make usually impact more than just ourselves. Depending on our level of spirituality among other things, we humans can run the range from being narcissistic to selfless.
There were times today that I really stood in the blessing of choice. This includes how to respond to others in the moment… whether to speak or remain quiet… whether to offer opinion or not… whether to be ego driven, offering advice without being asked… or whether to let people be who they are. To live unconditionally or to judge. (Feel free to add your own here).
Got it?
Feel free!
