WEEK 159
God, what is your guidance for me today? How can I grow as a spiritual being?
Surrender your judgments.
Live in love.
Love does not judge.
Be humble, realizing that what you know
about anyone or the deeper mysteries…
you know only partly
and can see only partly.
Judgement is the ego’s way of making itself
feel important within you.
In reality, there can be no human
judgement, for no one knows the whole truth,
except The One Who See All.
Live today with a commitment to leave
judgment to Me… to My Holy Spirit.
Your calling is to love unconditionally.
Live in love, today
and do not judge.
Evening Reflection
Sometimes, these guidances are so synchronistic to the happenings of the day that it is both inspiring and surprising. Toward the end of the day, I was talking to one of the dinner guests we had invited over. I asked about their day, and they told me that it had been okay except for a customer that was not very nice, bordering on rude. I asked how they responded, and they admitted that they judged the person. But not only did they judge the person, but they judged the whole table of people with that person. After a couple of more minutes, I pull out my guidance, which I had in my pocket, and I read it to them. They knew that I write these daily guidances and were amazed at the timing of this one, saying it felt like it was written just for them.
Not judging is a great spiritual exercise. It does not mean you cannot have an opinion or that you must refrain from observing what you observe without feelings. But it does mean that you do not, in your heart, look down upon another as if you are better.
Jesus reminded those who wanted to stone a member of their community, that only those without error qualify. And of course, no one qualifies.
I experience not judging as freedom to love. This world is way too complex and complicated for me to make an authoritative pronouncement on anyone’s soul or life.
How did you experience this guidance today?
