Week 41
God, what guidance do you have for me today?
The winds of life will blow
as they may,
but you
remain steadfast in my Spirit.
Watch the world,
with great interest even,
for you are a part of it;
but you are of Spirit and divinity.
Remember who you are.
Stay deeply rooted in love
and compassion.
Keep your heart open to my leading
and have faith in my agency to guide.
Ask for wisdom,
pray for strength when needed.
Remember who you are.
Let the light within you shine
brightly.
It is your birthright as
a royal child of the Most High.
Live it, today.
Week 41
Evening Reflection
Last night the wind was howling and blowing at a speed up to 95mph. It was shaking the house, bending the trees fiercely, and blowing anything away that didn’t have weight or was not rooted. I tend to watch the entertaining weather where I live, so I went out to experience this phenomenon.
I am sure today’s guidance riffed off of that powerful demonstration of planetary force. Human life has its own winds. The wills, desires and fears of humans can create forces, energy and circumstances that can cause a person to lose balance and make it difficult to move forward.
Today, I tried to remember to keep myself rooted in just what the guidance challenged me with, love and compassion. To remain steadfast in God’s spirit takes will and staying aware of being with God. It is a spiritual skill that takes practice; and when you have spent time enough, it does not get in the way, no matter what activity you may be doing.
It’s big stuff to remember who we are on the highest level, which is that each of us is divinity incarnated and personified. And to live it is to engage your love and compassion. No matter what else we are here for, I believe it is to love, and to keep learning how to love more and more, all the time, every time.
